This month, Bright World's Partner School, Moyles Court School in Ringwood, partnered with holding company, Broadway Education. The partnership comes after Moyles Court’s outstanding success under the Headmastership of Richard Milner-Smith, which culminated the best results in the school’s history and a place in The Sunday Times Top 50 small schools.
Moyles Court found Broadway Education an attractive proposition, because the company shares the same values and ethos as the school and comes with plenty of experience. Broadway Education, owned by Lymington family Mark and Jo Broadway, has a portfolio of three schools; Talbot House Preparatory School in Bournemouth, a successful feeder school for Bournemouth and Poole Grammar Schools, St. Michael’s School in South Wales and Bosworth Independent College in Northampton, both of which are listed in the Telegraph Top 100 'A’ level rankings for 2015. All are respected schools with their own strong identities and leadership teams, and each has a strong reputation for a high standard of learning.
Moyles Court had impressed Broadway Education with its strong leadership team and its committed individualised learning strategy.
Emma Haworth, Headteacher at Talbot House School commented: “Walking through the door of Moyles Court was like walking into any one of our schools; happy, smiling faces yet with a diligent focus on the task in hand. We share Richard’s view that happiness at school begins in a caring, nurturing environment, children can then thrive, grow and become successful in their own way.”
Richard Milner Smith (pictured below) has struck a chord with the press over the last couple of years with his very firm commitment to individualised learning at an affordable price:
“Finding a strategic partner who empathised with our ethos was a gem of a find. It will enable our school to flourish at a much faster rate as we proceed, business as usual, towards our vision of being the exceptional school in the region. I look forward to continuing at the helm of Moyles Court and taking on a bold, new chapter.”
Moyles Court School is holding an Open Morning on Saturday 14th May, 10am-12.30pm, where you can learn more about the new partnership.
Moyles Court School is well-established with a history of more than 50 years as a school and an even longer history as Moyles Court. The school is a day and boarding co-ed school taking pupils from 2½ to 16 years. The school is located on a generous site of 14 acres near Ringwood and within the New Forest.

At Moreton Hall, a Bright World partner school, one student has more to celebrate than just a grade A in her Theatre Studies A level. Drama scholarship student, Alice Williams, has beaten the competition to gain a place on the prestigious Stage Management course at RADA.
