This year, we celebrated the quadrennial Leap Day and as a result, we waved goodbye to a slightly longer February. It is believed that with a Leap Day comes good fortune and Bright World certainly had a very prosperous month.
At the start of the month, we were very excited to learn that we would be entering February as new Corporate Members of English UK. English UK is the national association of accredited English Language centres, and the world's leading language teaching association. As a UK-registered charity, their key aim is to advance the education of international students in the English language.
Members of English UK have exclusive access to specialised training courses, conferences, business support, news updates, industry reports and more. In September 2016, members of our Head Office team will be attending StudyWorld London at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel. In order to attend the event, educators have to be fully-accredited and agents and educational consultants must either be members of reputable professional organisations or meet tough selection criteria. We are therefore very pleased to be able to attend such a prestigious event and to be able to meet with such exceptional educators.
We are delighted to be partnered with such a fantastic organisation and we look forward to working closely with English UK to enhance the experience for our students and to benefit from the industry-specific training courses now available to us.
"Bright World is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment."
The number of UK Boarding Schools and important Industry Associations attending our Company Conference last week was testament to how highly thought of Bright World Guardianships is. We have had some wonderful feedback at how impressed our guests were with the amount we invest in Child Protection and Safeguarding. It is so important to bring the whole company together once each year to share experiences and obtain important Child Protection Training. I believe it really sets Bright World apart and enables us to strive to be the best in UK guardianship' Lana Foster, Bright World Managing Director
The Bright World Company Conference 2018 was a resounding success. So many of our close partner schools and agents took the time to join us. We all came away feeling very positive about the Guardianship industry and the work that schools and Bright World do together to keep children safe.
