Bright World representatives James & Lana Foster and Charlotte Hamson took some time out on the weekend to attend the eagerly awaited, Alphe UK.Westminster Park Plaza allowed the Bright World team to meet with some of the world’s top Educational Consultancies to tell them all about the unique uk guardianship and expert placement service.
The Meeting Manager booking system allowed Schools and guardianship organisations, like Bright World to choose from over 850 delegates and arrange a half hour meeting slot.
With the number of International Students choosing the UK for study continuing to increase, it was important for Bright World to attend the conference and to illustrate the key role we play in supporting and looking after international students who choose to study within the British Education System.
The event was especially well timed as it allowed us to make some noise about the launch of our new and improved web based student portal BLINK. The finished product, which launched last week, will dramatically change and improve the way in which we interact with our clients overseas.
Once a student enrols on the guardianship programme, their main contact/representative will receive a unique login to BLINK. The BLINK profile page includes a timeline of activity, where helpful icons help show all communication made between Bright World and child. BLINK will allow parents to read detailed reports so that they can keep track on their child’s progression. A photo album will also be created to and added to throughout the year, so that parents who are unable to visit the UK can view photos of their child enjoying School life.
BLINK seemed to intrigue a wide selection of delegates; some who were new to Bright World and others who were already familiar with our services.
Long standing Partners, Students International were extremely impressed with the new developments and told Lana that they were already very happy with our guardianship service. Igor Mishurov (pictured above) and the rest of Students International are now looking forward to the further developments we have in store.
Students International went on to win one of the prestigious Study Travel Magazing (STM) awards for The STM Star Agency in Eastern Europe so congratluations to Igor and his team! The awards ceremony on the Saturday evening, allowed delegates and Schools to break up two very long meeting days. The event was held at The London Hilton Hotel on Park Lane and consisted of a three course Gala dinner before the successful nominees were awarded from their respective categories.
We would like to thank the Hothouse media team for inviting us to yet another flawless event and very much look forward to seeing you all again in Russia!
If we met with you at Alphe please have a go at spotting yourself in our Alphe UK Album!

"Bright World is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment."
The number of UK Boarding Schools and important Industry Associations attending our Company Conference last week was testament to how highly thought of Bright World Guardianships is. We have had some wonderful feedback at how impressed our guests were with the amount we invest in Child Protection and Safeguarding. It is so important to bring the whole company together once each year to share experiences and obtain important Child Protection Training. I believe it really sets Bright World apart and enables us to strive to be the best in UK guardianship' Lana Foster, Bright World Managing Director
The Bright World Company Conference 2018 was a resounding success. So many of our close partner schools and agents took the time to join us. We all came away feeling very positive about the Guardianship industry and the work that schools and Bright World do together to keep children safe.
