We are happy to announce that we have this week become a supporting member of the British Association of Independent Schools with International Students (BAISIS).
BAISIS offers support and guidance to those who provide education at different levels to international students in independent schools, colleges and study centres. For a long time now, they have also been a great supporter of accredited guardianship. Therefore, this partnership means another great step forward for the guardianship industry, as proper, AEGIS-accredited guardianship continues to become better recognised and certified. This follows the welcomed news of BSA and AEGIS' new partnership, only last month.
We were very pleased to welcome BAISIS General Secretary, Caroline Nixon, to our annual conference in June, and she willingly took part in our Panel Discussion, offering her views on a number of hypothetical guardianship scenarios that were posed to her. We very much hope that her attendance will become an annual ocurrence, and we are looking forward to exhibiting at BAISIS' own conference, next March.
"Bright World is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment."
There were scenes of jubilation yesterday as many Bright World partner schools achieved excellent results, on the day that all UK boarding school pupils collected their A-Level results. Below are just some of the many updates we received. Congratulations everyone!
