All Hallows boarding school shortlisted at the Tes Awards 2019

Bright World wants to congratulate one of our partner boarding schools, All Hallows Prep School, in being shortlisted for the national Tes Creativity Awards 2019.

Creativity encouraged

At All Hallows, a dedicated Creative Centre was recently opened to encourage children to take a creative approach to all that they do. When a new Head of Art was appointed in September 2017, the department leapt into an exciting new creative direction from nursery children upwards.

Projects are collaborative, innovative, cross-curricular, child-led, teacher-inspired and community focussed. Further CDT facilities encourage pupils to immerse themselves in an increasingly technological world; a flexible scheme of learning helps to develop knowledge, understanding and skills whilst embracing opportunities to work with outside artists and organisations. Students photographers have undertaken a varied and diverse range of projects reflecting different influences and styles.

Creativity recognised

All Hallows Prep Boarding School is therefore thrilled to have been shortlisted for the 2019 Tes Independent School Awards for Creativity. According to Tes "The most outstanding individuals and institutions that the independent sector has to offer have been recognised in the shortlist for the 2019 Tes Independent School Awards".

Tes editor Ann Mroz said: "Independent education in this country is truly world class. It’s one of our great success stories. And those shortlisted for the Tes Independent School Awards are the crème de la crème. We received a record number of entries this year and the standard is the highest yet, so to be shortlisted is an extraordinary achievement for any school."

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Friday 1 February 2019. Bright World wants to wish All Hallows Prep School all the best of luck and can't wait to hear good news when the winners are announced.

All Hallows Prep School is an independent day and boarding school for 275 boys and girls aged 3 to 13 years. Located at Cranmore Hall, the school is just 15 minutes from Frome and Bruton and 30 minutes from Bath.
