Is it more beneficial for students to relax or to revise during the holidays?
We all know that a good revision plan is key to exam success, but finding the balance between work and play can be a real struggle for some students. Too much relaxation and pupils run the risk of wasting valuable study time. Too much revision and students can become stressed and unhealthy, ultimately affecting exam results. In the end it’s all aboutsmart studyingand giving your brain time to recover from an intense study session. The best way to do this is with regular breaks and of course, fun and engaging exercises.
This October half term,Bright World Education & GuardianshipslaunchRelax & Revise; a new alternative to staying with a Host Family during the holidays. This fully residential course aims to help students find that healthy balance between relaxing and revising.

Relax & Revise has been developed in coordination with Kingswood Groupand is carefully designed to match the needs and wants of international students who want to spend the school holidays with their school friends. Accessible for all students currently enrolled on Bright World’s guardianship programme, this option will also be made available to students who have made other guardianship arrangements.

On day one, a Revision and Study plan will be compiled for each student, where a qualified tutor will go through the homework tasks that have been set for students by their School. Revision will be supervised on a day to day basis, with students leaving the course having accumulated a revision and homework project file to take back to school. But don’t worry! Students will relax in the afternoons with various games and sports and will be treated to two excursions per week. Whether it's shopping on Oxford Street or a day out in Madame Tussauds, Bright World have got have got it covered!
