Bright World University Guardianship service - a great choice for under 18s in higher education

Leading the way in guardianship for UK universities

Bright World was one of the very first guardianship organisations to apply for and pass AEGIS accreditation back in 2006. We have been offering a specially designed programme for young people who are studying in the UK at University since 2000.

The perfect level of support for your overseas students

Students are allocated with a Bright World Buddy who is our Local Representative living close to the campus. This important contact offers an extra layer of support while they are studying in the UK. They can contact their Buddy in times of need. This support structure can make a big difference to our students by just being on the end of an email or telephone should they need us.

Peace of mind for parents

Our Head Office Care Manager can act as an intermediary between parents and university staff. Our team offers support to overseas parents who can feel anxious at the beginning of the University academic year. We have language counsellors in several languages who can also offer a valuable extra level of support in times of need. Our 24 hour emergency service offers peace of mind to parents who really appreciate having an out of hours emergency contact they can trust.

Guiding students towards good guardianship

Universities care about the welfare of their students. The Admissions Office will often include Bright World Guardianships on their list of Guardianship Companies that they give to parents if asked for recommendations. There is a a huge amount of ‘choice’ for parents as there are so many Guardianship Companies advertising themselves today. The search for the right company can be overwhelming for parents and it is great if university admissions staff guide them towards companies that they have know. Parents really appreciate that guidance.
