Welcome to the latest edition of The Bright World Hub and the first hub of the year. In this edition, we look back at the month of January and tell you all about the recent activities from the Bright World team.
January has flown by and we can’t quite believe that the first month of the new year is over already. But with the new year comes a ‘new us’ as we’ve got plenty of fresh developments to tell you about.
The first is our BRAND NEW Relax and Revise centre with Stay Academy in Willesden, London. Bright World has hand-picked Stay Academy for its impressive location and its modern and hotel-quality facilities. The centre is just 8 minutes from Westfield Shopping Centre, 15 minutes from Wembley stadium and 30 minutes from all major attractions, including Oxford Street, China Town and The Natural History & Science Museums.
Managing Director, Lana Foster and Charlotte Hamson, our Director of Sales and Marketing paid a visit to the Stay Academy earlier this month. Both Lana and Charlotte were incredibly impressed with the venue’s modern, cutting-edge look and the incredible rooftop where students can relax when the sun shines. A large cafe-style recreation area and restaurant is also available to all students and the excellent well-equipped learning zone is available during revision time.
We’re incredibly excited to welcome our students to the centre this February and we will keep everyone updated with the launch of Relax and Revise in the February hub. In the meantime, you can visit our Half Term, Easter and Summer Courses page to find out more.

The second new development comes from our Travel and Accommodation Department. We have had a fantastic response from our social media campaigns to find new host families in Scotland and in the Bath and Bristol area. The department are now in the process of screening new host families and scheduling home visits with our Local Co-ordinators. We are delighted to welcome all of our new host families and look forward to placing our students with them in the near future.
Our Admissions team have also been preparing to meet with new and existing Partner Schools at the British Boarding School’s Workshop, which will take place in March. We keep our Partner Schools consistently updated with any new developments at Bright World and enjoy having a good catch up at this bi-annual event. Meanwhile, Bright World’s Guardianship Care Managers have been busy processing the flight details of our new and returning students for after this February half term. With Relax and Revise just around the corner, they have also been handling any new applications and working closely with the Travel and Accommodation Department to arrange transfers to the London centre.
As for our Sales and Marketing Department, we are already starting to plan the new edition of our annual magazine Bright Eye, which is distributed at workshops all around the world. This ultimately means that the department will be creating new and exciting content for our students, parents, partners and agents to read. We already have some great ideas and can’t wait to get writing.
This month also saw the launch of Bright World’s first ever quiz. Here at Bright World, we know that everyone is different and we strive to find the best boarding school for each student, whether they’re a creative, a brain box, or even a little bit of a rebel. With this in mind, we created our quiz to get students thinking about the other aspects of boarding life, whether it’s the boarding facilities, the extra-curricular activities available, or even the location of the school itself. Judging by our results, it looks like we have a lot of creative students out there! At head office we have discovered a mix of creatives, home-birds, jocks and history buffs amongst our team. What kind of student will you be?
Until next time,
The Bright World Team
