Bright World offers a programme which is unique to the needs of international students, studying at a UK University.
Universities can and do accept students who are under 18 but that if they are here without their parents, they must give the name of their UK based guardian. Our University Guardianship programme has been running for over a decade and we understand that University students' needs are very different from boarding school guardianship. We have therefore designed a programme for 17 year olds, that is flexible and which satisfies the UKVI and our strict safeguarding standards.
Bright World can offer guardianship at UK Universities across the UK to satisfy University requirements for students aged 17 at the point of entry.
What is included in the Bright World UK University programme?
Option A - basic guardianship:
Option B - full guardianship:
Bright World University Guardianship Programme is only available to 17 year olds who are staying in supervised university halls of residence. We will need the name of the adult supervising the accommodation with their emergency contact prior to guardianship. We cannot offer guardianship for students in private accommodation or host families arranged by the university or a third-party provider.
