The origins of University of Chichester can be traced back to 1839 when Bishop Otter College was established. Bishop Otter merged with Bognor Regis College in 1977 and later became Chichester University in 2005. Chi Uni has two compact, attractive and friendly campuses in Chichester and Bognor Regis. Unusually for a university, the lecturers often know their students individually and can therefore provide unrivalled support and tuition. This has the obvious advantage of producing very high academic standards. This has recently been reflected in The Times Good University Guide where the university’s Art & Design, Communication & Media and Theology subjects achieved places within the top 20.
Impressive facilities for all taught subjects are available and Chi Uni is currently undergoing massive improvements to its infrastructure including new sports facilities. Both campuses are located on the South Coast of England and are close to the Sussex countryside offering the best of both worlds to students who enjoy outdoor pursuits.
