Sixteen-year-old Freddie Nicholson from Abingdon School is celebrating his selection as a Google Grand Prize Winner in the global tech giant’s annual international competition for young coders, Google Code-in 2018. As a prize winner, Freddie, who lives in Oxford, will be off to visit the Google headquarters and enjoy some Californian sunshine this summer.
In a bid to promote online safety and to celebrate this Safer Internet Day, we are asking our Guardian students to share positive messages online to their friends and followers. To mark the annual celebration, the #PositveVibesOnly campaign encourages Bright World students to send out at least one positive tweet, direct message, or status to their followers and friends.
