We recently visited our partners at Roedean school for Girls to see their modern boarding houses for ourselves.
During our visit we were able to update Roedean on all our news and changes within our guardianship department and to hear their updates so that we are fully informed when advising parents and placing students on behalf of our overseas Partners.
Head of Boarding, Graeme Railey kindly met with Bright World representatives, James Graydon-Rhodes, Charlotte Hamson and Lana Foster. Graeme was especially keen to learn more about our accreditation with TravelSafe and enquire about the stringent regulations we set out for all our Host Families. Graeme was also keen to meet James, our new UK Schools Liaison Manager and acknowledged that this would further improve how we as a guardianship organisation work together with Roedean in the future. Graeme delighted in showing Lana, James and Charlotte the brand new boarding accommodation which has recently earned the School a 3 page feature in The Sunday times Style Magazine. Sleek kitchen islands surrounded by noughts & crosses stools and decorative teapot cup lights further complement the beautiful location which looks out to the Brighton and English channel.
"Bright World is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment."
Today, Bright World's Directors launched the brand new WOW Award. The award recognises the importance of thanking our hardworking staff throughout the year, as each event passes. The first ever winner of this award has already been named.
At Moreton Hall, a Bright World partner school, one student has more to celebrate than just a grade A in her Theatre Studies A level. Drama scholarship student, Alice Williams, has beaten the competition to gain a place on the prestigious Stage Management course at RADA.
