Wycliffe College is a co-educational UK boarding school that was founded in 1882 and is set in sixty acres of parkland on the edge of the Cotswolds. Both the Senior and Junior schools can hold up to 400 students each and pupils benefit from an excellent mix of day and boarding students.
Boarding students can join Wycliffe Junior School from 7 years of age before progressing onto the Senior School at age 13. Wycliffe College aims to focus on individual learning which is at the heart of its teaching philosophy. In the Senior School, many individuals have achieved straight A grades at both A level and GCSE. There are annual Oxbridge successes and especially gifted students are given the opportunity to win prestigious national prizes.
Wycliffe College also offers a lively and comprehensive range of sporting and extra curricular activities to complete the British boarding school experience and has its own extensive sporting facilities.
As well as the standard schooling from age 7 through to completion of GCSE and A level studies in the senior school Wycliffe has a brand new Language Centre for students from overseas who need English preparation and orientation prior to entering the main school for academic studies. This centre offers an excellent stepping stone from their own country into mainstream school in the UK and not only teaches English and study skills but also all about British culture and customs.
