Brighton College has over twenty five years experience of co-education and offers either full or weekly boarding (as well as day places). Flexibility is key- weekly boarders may leave on Friday and return on Monday. Brighton College is a five-day week school but maintains a full and varied programme for boarders.
Brighton College is one of the best performing co-educational schools in Sussex and consistently a ‘First Division’ school in the ‘league tables’. In 2004, over 82% of A level grades were A or B and at GCSE, over 55% of subject passes were at A* or A grades. To complement the academic success, pupils enjoy regional and national recognition in areas such as sport and music. Rugby, cricket, hockey, squash and football are major boys’ sports, whilst for the girls netball, hockey and cricket feature strongly. A large number of other sports are also available for both boys and girls. Drama is also an important part of College life, as is dance and art.
