Sheffield Hallam University is one of the UK's most progressive and innovative universities. As the sixth largest university in Britain with over 24,000 students and 3,000 staff, it offers an impressive range of courses and state-of-the-art facilities to rival most institutions worldwide.

In Sheffield city centre is the University's City campus, a modern environment with some of the finest learning and teaching facilities in Europe. Hallam's second campus, Collegiate Crescent, only a couple of miles away, is set among lawns and trees in one of Sheffield's leafiest suburbs. The third campus at Psalter Lane is the base for many courses within the School of Cultural Studies and has a range of outstanding specialist facilities.

In addition, eight of the last ten subject areas assessed by the Government's Quality Assurance Agency, the teaching quality watchdog for universities, earned the coveted “excellent” rating which is classified by a score of 22 or more out of 24.
