Middlesex University, London, is one of the largest universities in the UK having over 25,000 students and employing some 2,500 staff. It teaches over 5,000 international students - more than any other university in the UK. This huge mix of different nationalities and cultures has enabled the university to offer a wide and flexible range of graduate and postgraduate courses. Middlesex was one of the first universities to be audited under the new Quality Assurance Agency Institutional Audit process. Excellence was confirmed across the whole University provision. Further proof of this was found in 2004, when the Guardian newspaper ranked Middlesex 19th out of 120 UK universities.

In addition to providing the necessary support and intellectual stimulus to students, Middlesex university offers comprehensive accommodation and sports and leisure opportunities. Although Middlesex university itself is large, each campus is small enough to be friendly and welcoming. Being in North London, students can also be assured of a vibrant social life, although the campuses themselves are a hotbed of social, sporting and cultural attractions.
