All students live in safe, clean and well heated Halls of Residence on the Lord Wandsworth campus, where Boys and girls live in separate buildings. Most of the rooms are singles with some twin rooms and only a few multi-bedded rooms. The Pre-A-Level/Pre-IB Course Centre is 45 minutes from London. The Centre is a traditional boarding schools which provides a safe environment for students to grow and develop. The school has excellent science laboratories, computer rooms, drama workshops, tennis court and swimming pool. Laundry service is provided once a week.

This course is suitable for students who will be starting A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in September. The recommended full 8-week programme is like an extra term of school and will give you a great start at your next school. You will spend about half your time learning English and drama, and the other half studying your main subjects. The maximum class size is 16, but the normal average class size is about 12 to 13 students

Services, Facilities & Social Activities
The Houses have toilets, showers and comfortable lounges, and have Wifi access. The centre has excellent science laboratories, computer rooms, drama workshops, tennis court and swimming pool. Laundry service is provided once a week. Afternoon sports sessions introduce students to traditional British sports including netball, rugby, rounders and cricket, as well as many others. Social activities help students learn new skills and gain confidence. They often include a fashion show, business simulation game, speed chatting evening with British guests, end of course drama production and formal dinner and dance. We go on a cultural trip every week and students choose from a variety of Sunday Clubs.
Resident House Staff sleep in the Houses and will be on hand to help students with any personal problems.A special feature of the Etherton courses is their friendly, talented British Student Hosts. After lessons finish every day, students are able to practise speaking English with lots of British Student Hosts. They are typically university students and work every day. They help with English conversation, act as mentors in homework time, and join in with sport, social activities, meal times, clubs and trips.
