Bright World Summer Homestay Programme
One of the very best ways to learn English is to immerse yourself fully into a household or group of people and only speak English for a period of time. Two weeks really helps and four weeks will make a big difference to the fluency of the student who is already Intermediate or Upper intermediate.
By choosing the Bright World Summer Homestay programme you will benefit from a great selection of very high quality host families who are known to us via our year round guardianship programme. This will ensure that each family has been introduced to us usually by referral and word of mouth, not blanket advertising, and also that they have gone through our rigorous application process which includes:
- A telephone interview on application
- A face to face interview and house inspection by a trained member of the Bright World team
- A CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) check on any adult living in the family
- Two references taken up on each adult in the family
All children on the programme will benefit from coming under the umbrella of Bright World Guardianships and all that means. Bright World Guardianships is a fully accredited guardianship organisation which means that our practises and processes have been inspected and passed by AEGIS, the Association of Educational Guardians for International Students. You will have access to our excellent and knowledgable head office team and the services of our Local Coordinator and our 24/7 emergency telephone hotline should you need it.
