Bright World Guardianships Ltd and its sister company, Bright World Education Ltd, were founded in 2000. Our role is to help overseas students to find the right place at a British school, college, or university and then to care for them while they are here as their UK based guardian.
Choosing to study abroad is a very important and life changing decision, and obtaining a British degree from UK universities will mean excellent career opportunities and job prospects. Bright World works with over 200 UK boarding schools, colleges and UK universities. We specialise in finding the right school and course for students of all ages from 5 right through to postgraduate level.
Over the years our team of education specialists has helped hundreds of international students join the British education system and go onto top UK universities to complete their education. We understand the anxieties that parents have when sending their children abroad, we know and understand the boarding school system and we have great contacts with schools making us an ideal go-between for parents.
If you are sending your son or daughter to a UK boarding school, then you will be asked by the school and the authorities to provide the name of a UK based guardian who is responsible for your child as you are not living in the UK. Parents who do not have a friend or family member who lives in the UK often turn to the services of a guardianship organisation such as Bright World Guardianships.
Unlike many other guardianship organisations, we are fully accredited by AEGIS (Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students). This means our practises and processes have been thoroughly inspected and audited by this important organisation and we can therefore guarantee that we will act in your child’s best interest at all times.
Bright World Guardianships' Mission is to keep our students safe while they are here and to improve the quality of our service and standards as we grow. We are committed to safeguarding student welfare and undertake rigorous checks on all who work with us and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. At present we remain the ONLY Guardianship company in the UK to have received assured partnership with TravelSafe, who are part of Child-Safe International; a registered charity whose mission is to safeguard children and young people away from home. At Bright World we have a clear Child Protection strategy and try to find ways to "do what others do but to do it better". We understand the importance of keeping children safe, happy and comfortable and we only choose host families we would send our own children to stay with.
Our head office team are highly trained and chosen for their efficiency yet caring attitude. Our Local Coordinators are all highly trained and offer a truly caring one to one mentoring service and our drivers professional and coherent with our safeguarding requirements. We offer language counsellors to those parents who do not speak English fluently and are constantly innovating and are constantly updating our systems to make organisation better and to improve our communications system.
Bright World works closely with a select group of education agents around the world who have a sound understanding of the British education system, experience with student counselling on education in the UK programmes and an excellent track record of preparing and guiding students through the application and visa process.
