Bright World is delighted to report that our partner, Stover School, has produced some outstanding exam results this year.
Upper Sixth Form examination candidates achieved a pass rate of over 90% across all subject entries for their A2 examinations, with over 40% of those results being A* to B grades.
Particular mention must be given to Stover School’s Head Girl, Nabeelah Afolabi, who achieved A*, A and B passes; exceeding her academic expectation by 6 grades overall. As any good Head Girl should, she really set the standard for her year group. Well done Nabeelah!
This has been a particularly prosperous year with a number of real success stories, where pupils have far out-stripped their personal targets. It is particularly pleasing to note that across all subject entries, when measured against external educational predictors, Stover School’s pupils exceeded their expected results and delivered a net positive value added position. So heartiest congratulations to all pupils at our partner school and the staff who supported and encouraged them towards those achievements.
Stover School will be holding an open day for prospective students and their parents on the 10th October 2015 between 12pm and 3pm. This is a perfect opportunity for potential students to experience what it is like to study at a leading independent boarding school.
