Bright World drink tea at The House of Lords

James and Lana foster were invited by Sherborne International College to attend tea at the House of Lords last Friday.

Agents and Student Guardianship companies who work with Sherborne were kindly invited by Christopher Greenfield, Principal and the reception was hosted by Lord Kirkwood of Kirkhope.

We were treated to delicious sandwiches, cakes and tea serve on the finest of china.  A speech was heard by Major General Patrick Cordingley DSO DSc one of the school's Chair of Governers.

We were then invited to ask questions to the Head of Sponsorship at the UK Border Agency, Mr Shirley.

and felt it a step towards finding solutions to some of the problems agents face when dealing with the current Tier 4 visa system.

The College will be following-up all the points raised with Mr Shirley of UKBA and very much hopes there will be some positive action taken to alleviate some of the challenges.

Tours of the Palace of Westminster took place following the event which was completely fascinating!

We thank our partner school Sherborne International College for inviting us along to this important occasion for a chance to exchange views and discuss matters relating to our professional  interests.
