Stafford
House College was founded nearly 50 years ago and is situated
in Canterbury near the south coast of England. Canterbury is
just one hour from London. The college specialises in introducing
international students to the English education system and helping
them to gain places at university. With 150 students from all
over the world from the age of 14 through to university age it
prides itself on offering a balanced education that develops
students’ personal qualities, training them to cope with
university life and the world of work as rounded and mature individuals.
The results are excellent, with over 97% of students progressing
onto university every year. Above all, Stafford House is a friendly
community where great care is taken to make every student’s
experience in the UK a successful and happy one.
Programme options:
The college offers five programmes of study and has flexible start dates. From
the age of 15 students can join the GCSE programme for 1 or 2 years. GCSE students
who need more English can start with the Junior Academic programme. Then the
college offers 5 term and 2 year A levels or a one year Foundation programme.
English language preparation is offered for those students who need more English
before starting their academic course. Stafford House also has a Masters Foundation
programme for students wishing to prepare for an MBA or masters degree in the
UK.

It is a member of ARELS (Association of Recognised English Language Services)
and is accredited by the British Council.
