King's School, Rochester, is the oldest choir school in the world, and the second oldest school in the country. Situated in the centre of the historic city of Rochester, adjacent to the Cathedral, and in the shadow of one of the finest Norman keeps in the country, the UK Boarding School boasts many Grade 1 listed Georgian or Victorian buildings. Today, King's is at the cutting edge of 21st century education. The state-of-the-art Pre-preparatory school, the 25 metre indoor swimming pool, the Sixth Form Centre with its own computer suite and the David Dann Music Room have all been designed and built during the past decade. A new network system of fibre optic and copper cables, forming the backbone of the intranet, internet and telephone systems, has recently been installed throughout the campus.

The co-educational UK boarding school offers a balanced education to just over 700 children from 3-18 years, of whom 50 are boarders. Although comparatively small, King's has a very strong academic tradition with nearly all the pupils continuing to A Level, before moving on to university.
