The girls school has about 330 students, a quarter of whom are boarders. St Mary's Hall has a long tradition of educating and caring for boarding students of many different nationalities. The school community is a thriving one, enriched by the contribution of each individual. The ESL Department was specifically designed to offer overseas students the opportunity to develop their language skills in small groups taught by specialist teachers. The Centre is situated on the School campus.
